I'm David — a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and Personal Trainer.

My coaching is built on Japanese principles. I've trained in Japanese Jujitsu, Kenjutsu, and Kickboxing, and I'm deeply passionate about Japan: its culture, philosophy, customs, and traditions. That passion isn't separate from my coaching — it's the foundation of it.

When you bring together the science of corrective exercise with the Japanese principles: you get a training method that produces real results and that you want to keep doing — for years, for decades, for life. It's what these principles were always pointing toward.

生き甲斐 IKIGAI — every session has a purpose, you leave energised, and you look forward the next session.

改善 KAIZEN — small, consistent progress every week. No post-workout wipeout.

腹八分目 HARA HACHI BU — 80% intensity. Enough to grow. Enough to recover. Enough to come back.

侘寂 WABI-SABI — progress over perfection. Every body is a work in progress, and that's exactly where growth lives.

I'm the first test subject of everything I build. My own training follows the exact same principles I give my clients.
